That's Garbage!

Chris and I have been discussing a variety of ideas for another short film. So far we've liked one idea the most: A movie about a garbage can. I just know that it will be amazing! If you have any input on how to make the best garbage movie possible then please submit it to me in one form or another! "Why don't you eat your own garbage!" said the garbage can.

I think that the garbage can life cycle and sense of self-image is a very deep subject. Think of all the neighborhood interactions, the hit-and-run abuse by people who take advantage of her by opening her lid and putting non-familial garbage in it and then ignoring her for the rest of the day! What would a garbage can do if it had a choice, a voice; not having to say "poof" what do you need, "poof" what do you need, "poof" what do you... oh,...OOOh, now that is sick, what kind of...*#&?!@# ARE YOU! Anyway, just some thoughts.

Very nice insight Shawn. I like where your thoughts are going with that!

I think that she needs a sketch with some uncomfortable closeness with her neighbor, the recycling can. She needs to squirm and thinly vail her disgust for her friend and colleague who has "no problems" supposedly. Recycle is so vulgar really, with all of her liberal ideas and her utter lack of appreciation for real work, the kind that gets your base dirty, moldy and slimy. Her and her uptown friends and popularity among the rich. They only want her for her image! What else would make someone want to sort their garbage!! It's mine I tell you, ALL MINE!!?!!! She even takes my garbage away, my hard earned garbage. Down with taxation and communist garbage collection!
